Pizza Storm, Wandsworth
Pizza lovers rejoice, Wandsworth now has a make-your-own pizza restaurant and it couldn't get better. Now, Wandsworth isn't short of a decent place to eat, it's pretty much all there is to do there but when Pizza Storm opened, I had to try it.
Although there is a menu of pre-decided pizzas to choose from, the range of choose-your-own toppings sold the DIY version instantly. Firstly, you choose your sauce. These include BBQ and spicy tomato which are the only two I've tried - BBQ has quickly become my go-to infact. Next up, choose your cheese. Mozzarella shavings, cheddar, Red Leicester, the list goes on. Then comes the fun part - the toppings! It's difficult not to get carried away and order everything as there is so much selection. From olives to pineapple, sundried tomatoes to anchovies, there's no shortage of vegetables/salad. Meats include salami, chicken, spicy beef, bacon and many more.

When they first opened, they had a deal for two pizzas, a side, two desserts and two drinks for £15 - bargain! We obviously took full advantage (pictured above) and added a side of garlic doughballs.
For dessert, it's a Pizza Hut style ice-cream machine with a selcection of toppings. I went for chocolate sauce, mint choc chip toppings and Oreo bits.
If you're ever in the area and stuck for somewhere to eat, Pizza Storm is a great choice. Located on the corner next to Pret, just up the road from Southside Shopping Centre, it's perfect if you're enjoying a shopping day. It's a thumbs-up from me!
