Maxwell's, Covent Garden
Freakshakes have taken over, and it's not hard to see why. Not only do they contain the most outrageous toppings alongside your favourite milkshake, but they make the perfect Instagram snap too.
Maxwell's in Covent Garden launched Freakshakes 2015 and have rotated through around 20 different flavours since, including Mars and Unicorn shakes.
On a cold, slightly wet day, we headed in for some shelter and couldn't resist the above. Between us we ordered the salted caramel donut, oreo cookie and cookie dough and weren't disappointed. They are huge! My one piece of advise, share one. We each ordered our own and I couldn't even get half down - super sickly and way too many toppings meant a very full belly, very quickly.
I'm really happy to have tried them, as it was my first Freakshake experience, but I'm not sure I'd rush back to get another. I don't believe anyone truly needs that much sugar in one hit, and I have a massive sweet tooth so that's saying something.
If you've never had one, I'd suggest going! But go when you're hungry and have some space.
