Milk Train, Covent Garden

You've probably seen the Instagram posts for Milk Train, the cool, candyfloss coated ice-cream with colourful toppings and thought 'I need to try that' - well that's exactly what I did. Sold by the posed photos, I headed down there and ordered the Oreo toppings for the ultimate sweet fix. 

As soon as the woman handed me the work of art, I knew I had made a mistake. It turns out that approximately 3 seconds after you take your photo, everything starts melting and the ice-cream begins to run down your hand and probably onto your clothes. It is by far the messiest dessert I've had, you wouldn't be blamed for throwing it away early. 

Luckily, one person in our group didn't buy one so was quickly sent to buy some baby wipes. Unluckily for one other, she was wearing white and quickly ended up with sauce down her front. 

If you're willing to spend around £5 on an ice-cream that's created purely for some social media likes, then head on down and get everyone to order different toppings for the ultimate photo. Honestly though, I won't be going back. It's basically just a Mr Whippy with some fancy toppings and a hefty price tag prying on those that love a good Insta photo.
