Soft Serve Society, Shoreditch

Because the most important thing about your ice-cream is that it's photogenic, right? Now I may have ordered these particular combos and walked up the road to find a good background purely for the Instagram pic but vanity aside, it's hands-down the best ice-cream I've eaten.

To the left we have a toasted marshmallow, waffle code and strawberry crispy toppings, a black cone and charcoal coconut ice-cream. To the right, toffee crisp and strawberry flake toppings, charcoal coconut ice-cream and a standard cone.

I love pretty much anything coconut flavour anyway so I may be a little biased but the Soft Serve Society really lives up to it's name. The softest, smoothest ice-cream delicately flavoured with smoky coconut hints, it's surprisingly light and refreshing. The toasted marshmallow melts in the mouth and the crispy toppings added texture. 

Although not the cheapest ice-cream I've had, prices from around £5, you definitely get what you pay for. It's a resounding thumbs-up from me - it's just a shame I live on the other side of London!
