Ham Yard Hotel, Piccadilly Circus
You may have heard of the Ham Yard Hotel through its many
fashion photo shoots or celebrity-filled brunches (trust me, search them on Instagram),
so it’s no surprise that it’s not the cheapest breakfast in town. With
beautiful marble tables, quirky and colourful artwork and delicate china crockery,
it’s the perfect location for a relaxing breakfast. As a group of four, and not
that we were in any way loud, there was a certain vibe in the restaurant that
you shouldn’t be too loud or disturbing, that this place is designed for a
classy date and not a rowdy group. Lucky we didn’t quite fall into either
bracket so it was an enjoyable morning but just an FYI for anyone planning to get
boozy over lunch, you may get a few death stares.
I ordered the pancakes with maple syrup and bacon as it was delicious! For £10.50 it was tipping towards expensive but when the interior is that pretty, it’s easy to see where your money is going. The menu for breakfast/brunch is pretty impressive, from a full English to a salmon and cream cheese bagel, there’s loads to choose from and it’s all priced between £7-15. Ham Yard Hotel, it’s a thumbs-up from me.
