Rail House Cafe, Victoria

The Rail House Cafe is up there with the prettiest interiors I've seen. From the carriage outside to the high tables, blue leather seats and the low hanging lights, it's all so perfectly put together. 

We visited for a weekend brunch and on first look, nothing jumped out at me on the menu. Sure you've got your classic egg and avocado combinations a plenty, but nothing that particularly stood out. Concerned that I would make the wrong choice, I decided on a safe option of smoked salmon, poached eggs and sourdough with a cappuccino. 

The food was delicious, if not slightly on the small side but I didn't leave hungry or feeling bloated (maybe this is what correct portion control looks like). The whole table complimented their choice and I've definitely remembered it since so it's a thumbs-up from me. It's the perfect weekend location, with an array of different seating options, from sofas to high tables. Give them a try and let me know what you think!
